Rami Rmeileh is a liberation/indigenous psychologist currently pursuing a PhD at the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies. Rmeileh holds a BA in Clinical Psychology (Psychoanalysis) from the Lebanese University and an MSc in Cross-cultural Psychology from the University of Oslo and ISCTE in Lisbon. Prior to his academic path, he worked extensively with various political institutions (including the European Parliament) and humanitarian organizations in Lebanon and Europe, advocating for the rights of refugees and displaced communities. Building on his practical experience in humanitarian and political interventions, his research critically examines the Eurocentric approach in psychology and psychiatry, highlighting its violent history and ongoing impact on both theory and practice.

Sorcha Thomson is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Global Socialisms at University College London (UCL), within the Socialist Anthropocene in the Visual Arts (SAVA) project. She researches global and environmental histories of tricontinentalism, socialist development and transnational solidarities with the Palestinian Revolution. Sorcha is also a Teaching Fellow in Politics and International Studies at SOAS and co-editor of the books She Who Struggles: Revolutionary Women who Shaped the World (2023) and Palestine in the World: International Solidarity with the Palestinian Liberation Movement (2023).

Ankush Pal is a graduate student of Sociology at the London School of Economics and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a minor in Political Science from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He is interested in cities, environmental policies, and social movements, particularly in South Asia. He has contributed to numerous transdisciplinary research projects, spanning archival documentation of anti-colonial publications, economic & social rights of informal workers, and urban climate & mobility policies. His work has been published in peer-reviewed academic journals, and platforms for public scholarship like Himal Southasian, The Wire, and more.

Tala Khanmalek is an independent writer, scholar, and educator as well as a Creative Capital Award fellow. She received her PhD in Ethnic Studies at the University of California, Berkeley, and was an associate professor of gender and sexuality studies at California State University, Fullerton. Her scholarly writing has appeared in Frontiers, Latino Studies, Feminist Studies, Palimpsest, and the Journal of Leadership, Equity, and Research, among other journals. Her creative work has appeared in Academy of American Poet’s Poem-a-Day, Epiphany, Indiana Review, and Meridian, among other journals.

Amsale Alemu is assistant professor of African Studies at Howard University. She holds a PhD in African and African American studies from Harvard University. Her current book project examines university surveillance and US geopolitics in the Horn of Africa, with attention to relationships among Ethiopian and Eritrean revolutionary activists and anticolonial collaborators in the 1960s and 1970s.

Drew Kahu‘āina Broderick is an artist, curator, and educator from Mōkapu, a peninsula on the windward side of Oʻahu. Currently, he serves as director of Koa Gallery at Kapiʻolani Community College and as a member of kekahi wahi (2020–), a grassroots film initiative documenting stories of transformation across Moananui, the Pacific. Recently, he co- curated ʻAi Pōhaku, Stone Eaters (2023) with Josh Tengan and Noelle M.K.Y. Kahanu; Hawaiʻi Triennial 2022: Pacific Century – E Hoʻomau no Moananuiākea with Melissa Chiu and Miwako Tezuka; and Mai ho‘ohuli i ka lima i luna (2020) with Kapulani Landgraf and Kaili Chun.

Aaron Katzeman is an art historian, curator, and postdoctoral fellow at the Getty Research Institute. He received his PhD in Visual Studies with an emphasis in Global Studies at the University of California, Irvine, and was previously a Landhaus Fellow at the Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society. His research focuses on contemporary art and visual culture produced alongside resistance to military occupation, social movements for agrarian reform, and anticolonial national liberation struggles. His writing has appeared in Radical History Review, Third Text, caa.reviews, Pacific Arts, and Antipode: A Radical Journal of Geography.

Tony Wood is Assistant Professor of History at the University of Colorado Boulder. His research focuses on the Latin American radical left in the interwar period, tracing connections between Mexico, Cuba, and the Soviet Union. Initially trained as a specialist on Russia and the former Soviet Union, he is the author of Chechnya: The Case for Independence (2007) and Russia without Putin: Money, Power and the Myths of the New Cold War (2018).
